Sally Batton: Judges’ Perspective Clinic

At EquiFest of Kansas 2026, Sally Batton will be one of the featured clinicians offering a range of educational and performance-focused sessions designed for riders of all levels. With decades of experience as a collegiate coach, national steward, and author of equestrian training books, Sally will share her expertise through several clinics and demonstrations that focus on improving rider performance, teaching tools to refine position and balance, and exercises like Equicize that combine fitness with effective horsemanship. She’s scheduled to lead sessions such as “Judge’s Perspective and Clinic for English Flat & Fences,” “Equicize,” and “Teaching Tools to Improve Your Position in the Show Ring,” giving attendees practical, hands-on instruction to help them become more confident and effective in the saddle.
